Community guidelines
Effective October 9, 2026
Cadant is built for working creators. Be useful, be decent, and do not send anything you would not want a brand to read.
Where these guidelines apply
Cadant has no public feed and no messaging between users. These guidelines cover everything you write or send through Cadant, including:
- messages you send our team in Help chat;
- feedback you send us;
- invoices, emails and other content you send to brands and clients through Cadant.
They add to the acceptable use rules in our Terms of Service. By using Cadant, you agree to follow them.
Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post, send or upload content that:
- harasses, bullies, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- promotes hate or violence against people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity or sexual orientation;
- sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way. We remove child sexual abuse material, close the accounts involved, and report it to the authorities, including NCMEC where it applies;
- is sexually explicit, gratuitously violent or obscene;
- is illegal, defamatory or fraudulent;
- is spam, including unsolicited bulk messages or repeated messages;
- impersonates another person, a brand or Cadant;
- infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights;
- shares someone’s private or identifying information without consent (doxxing);
- contains malware or phishing links, or tries to break into other accounts or the service.
How to report
If you see something that breaks these guidelines, tell us in Help chat in the app or email support@cadant.app. Include what you saw and where.
Because users cannot message each other in Cadant, there is no one to block. If we ever add a way for users to contact each other, we will add Report and Block actions to it and update this page.
How we review reports
A person on our team reviews every report. We review reports and remove content that breaks these guidelines within 24 hours.
Enforcement
Depending on how serious the violation is, we may:
- give a warning;
- remove the content;
- suspend the account;
- terminate the account.
Serious violations, and anything that endangers a child, lead to immediate removal and termination, and we may report them to law enforcement.
